Common questions

Equipment FAQ

Why use ceiling access points instead of a single Wi-Fi router?

A single router often has trouble covering offices, walls and busy areas. Multiple professionally placed access points create more consistent coverage across the business.

Can I manage the network from my phone?

Many UniFi-based installations can be monitored and managed remotely. We will explain what is included with your specific design and what access you will have.

Do I have to buy every item shown here?

No. This page shows common building blocks. We recommend only what makes sense for your building, number of users, needs and budget.

Can the system grow to add cameras, more Wi-Fi or phones?

Yes. A well-planned network can make future additions much easier. Tell us what you may want to add so we can plan for it from the start.

Can you work outside normal business hours?

Yes. CableXpert offers full-day Saturday–Monday availability and after-hours work Tuesday–Friday, helping limit disruption to your business.
